Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known by the stage name Andra day, is an American R&B singer-songwriter. She is the recipient of several awards like the Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nomination for an Academy Award. Andra is not only a throwback R&B artist, her blues roots and gospel jazz can be heard in a style which is effortless as well as elegant. Her debut album Cheers To The Autumn (2015) is an instant hit in the hip-hop/R&B genre. It also led to a number of Grammy as well as Academy Award nominations. Records and started cooperating with her producer, Adrian Gurvitz on her debut album, Cheers to the autumn (2015). The album included the song Rise Up it has grown into an international song of the social justice movement. Day received two Grammy nominations, one of which was for Best R&B Album. In 2019 she released her sophomore album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album featuring the life of a legendary jazz singer. In addition, she was a part of The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film on Holiday. Andi Matichak has a reputation as an American actor. Her debut came in the film Halloween in the role of Allyson following her appearance in several television shows including Orange Is the New Black (Orange is the New Black) Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue), Blue Bloods and Orange Is the New Black. Andi Mattichak was born the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
