Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is the first woman to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place finish was at both the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete as well as a media star. She was the first female to win in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. The winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was born in Iceland's Reykjavik area together with her parents and siblings. Following that, she was a participant in another CrossFit competitions and due to her impressive performance, she took home the competition as the very first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie has an impressive performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to be crowned the winner of each of the CrossFit Games. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand subscribers where her training diet family videos and travel vlogs are shared.
